Our Story

Fostering the success and empowerment of Canadian Tamil professionals

The Canadian Tamil Professionals Association (CTPA) was established in 2008 to create a professional networking hub to empower emerging and established Tamil professionals.

Since its inception, CTPA has cemented its position as a non-profit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to providing aspiring and established Tamil professionals with the tools, training, and resources needed to realize their full potential and advance in their careers.

Our flagship annual events, the Toast to Success Conference and the Black and White Affair serve as platforms for celebrating the accomplishments of Tamils from diverse professional backgrounds. These events and several Professional Development Workshops hosted throughout the year offer invaluable networking opportunities and foster community unity, growth, and innovation.
