CTPA offers a great opportunity for young Tamil professionals to connect, learn and grow as an individual & get involved in the community. So much has come from my experiences working in the sponsorship team as I was able to grow my network within the Tamil community.
Volunteering with CTPA has been deeply meaningful, fostering community and connection with driven professionals. It’s inspiring to see our collective impact while building skills, growing personally, and contributing to initiatives that empower others—allowing me to give back meaningfully while growing alongside those who share the same vision.
CTPA has transformed my career through mentorship, career advice, and hands-on experience in outreach, event planning, and cross-functional teamwork across the mentorship, internal, and growth & fundraising teams. Over three years, I’ve gained valuable skills, made amazing friends, and helped empower other young Tamil professionals through impactful workshops, networking events, and resources.
Volunteering with CTPA has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Starting as Head of Growth and Fundraising and now serving as Director, I’ve gained confidence, leadership, and collaboration skills, built lifelong friendships, expanded my network, and grown both personally and professionally while making a real difference in my community.
